JCPenney’s New Line Inspired by Marilyn Monroe

The fashion legacy of Marilyn Monroe, the iconic American actress and model, continues to influence today’s styles. And at JCPenney, the shopping destination for diverse working families, our latest collection is a nod to the “Everyday Marilyn” – the humanitarian, artist and entrepreneur.

A curated capsule featuring spring sundresses and sleek silhouettes, Marilyn Monroe by JCPenney is designed for women who love quality, comfort and effortless style. The twelve-piece assortment offers customers a versatile, affordable collection that women can mix and match to create a preppy look with classic stripes or a whimsical feel with floral patterns.

On April 28, Marilyn Monroe by JCPenney debuted at an exclusive event for media and influencers held at Monroe’s former residence, the Norma Jean Suite at the Lexington Hotel in New York City. The collection and launch event generated extensive media interest, with featured stories appearing in WWD and Good Morning America.

“Inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s effortless style and fashion legacy, this exclusive capsule collection provides customers with clothing they’ll feel both comfortable and stylish in,” said Val Harris, JCPenney’s senior vice president of product design, trend and brand management.

The limited-time collection is available in sizes XS-3X and will also feature a special edition of Keds with Marilyn Monroe-inspired design available exclusively at JCPenney in late May.

This collection is available just in time for Mother’s Day, Memorial Day and Marilyn’s very own birthday, so don’t wait! You can shop the collection in stores and online now.
