JCPenney Salon Hosts National Hiring Day to Attract 6,000 Skilled Stylists

As JCPenney continues to transform its salon locations to the Salon by InStyle, the company is hosting a National Hiring Day event for salon stylists on Monday, March 4, at salons across the country. With over 750 locations, we are proud to operate one of the largest, full-service salons in the U.S. and we’re searching for 6,000 talented stylists to add volume to our booming business.

During this unique National Hiring Day event, salon education managers will host a free hands-on class ($300 value!) about foilayage, color mélange or pastellics at select locations. Licensed stylists and cosmetology students are encouraged to attend this event, meet with the salon team and apply for a stylist position at their local JCPenney salon.

There are many benefits to being a JCPenney salon stylist. Highly experienced stylists can take advantage of up to 70 percent commission, no booth rental fees, up to $1,000 bonus based on performance and flexible scheduling. JCPenney stylists also enjoy perks such as paid professional training, health benefits for full-time stylists, paid time off, 401K eligibility and a generous associate discount.
