We’re excited to announce that we’ve collaborated with popular 16-year-old Latina actress and singer, Isabela Moner, for our latest capsule collection from Obsess. Launched earlier this year, Obsess, available exclusively at JCPenney, features rotating capsules inspired by influential young women who promote a positive body image. Dropping just in time for tween girls shopping for the new school year, Moner’s capsule collection will launch at JCPenney.com on June 29, and will be available in 500 JCPenney stores beginning July 6.
“I am thrilled to launch my Obsess capsule collection at JCPenney. This is my first entry into the fashion world and I can’t wait to leave my mark,” said Moner. “I worked very closely with the design team to make sure the clothes truly represented my style – comfortable but still super cute. I even tried on and approved each piece. This line is meant for everyone, no matter your size, and I am so happy with the final collection.”
Moner’s capsule collection for Obsess is the perfect addition to any back-to-school wardrobe. Incorporating a burgundy, navy, mustard and heather gray color palette, the entire line features sporty details, inspired by Moner’s own style aesthetic. Items in the collection include a floral wide leg jumpsuit for $26.99 on sale, a casual knit varsity dress for $23.99 and a selection of graphic tees emblazoned with empowering phrases for $12.99.
“One of my favorite pieces in the collection is the mesh turtleneck with the tank top underneath. The mesh is so cool to me and you can wear it with so many things. I also love the cute little burgundy dress. It’s very sporty and fits really nicely. It has a cute tiger patch that’s pretty fierce and adds a little bit of personality to this simple but fun dress,” Moner added.
Obsess is available for girls in sizes 7 to 20, including plus sizes. Tween girls can follow @ob.sess on Instagram for fashion inspiration and can look forward to even more looks from Moner with new styles hitting stores this fall.
With over 1.5 million social media followers, Moner is known for her leading role on the Nickelodeon comedy series “100 Things To Do Before High School” and Michael Bay’s “Transformers: The Last Knight.” Next, she stars opposite Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin in “Sicario: Day of the Soldado” and the Paramount Pictures film “Instant Family” alongside Mark Wahlberg, Rose Byrne and Octavia Spencer. Moner is also set to star in the titular role in Paramount Players live action feature “Dora the Explorer.”
